Compatibility and System Requirements
Premier Test Builder Tests have been tested with the following Assistive Technologies:
Making a Macintosh-compatible Test
When a test is saved in the accessible format, it can also be accessed on a Macintosh computer – once again, no additional software is required. Due to the limited number of AT products available to the MAC platform it was not tested in the Mac environment for accessibility.
Taking a Test
The only requirements are that the user be running Internet Explorer 5 or higher if the test taker needs accommodations. Tests are compatible with all other versions of Microsoft Windows or Mac OS/X or higher.
Building a Test
Premier Test Builder requires MS Word 2000 or higher (MS Word 2003 is recommended).
It is also recommend that the full version of Microsoft Word is installed. Many school I.T. Departments choose to install only the limited version of MS Word. If you are planning to create formulas, you will need the full version of MS Word installed, or it might limit the types of equations Word will support.
