Premier Assistive Technology Announces availability of MSI Packages for Network Installation of its suite of Accessibility software.

Many schools are now seeing the benefit of helping all students even those who need just a little help. In an effort to provide every student with the greatest opportunity for success, these schools have run into a new barrier: How do they deploy the Accessibility Suite of software over thousands of workstations? To overcome this barrier, Premier Assistive Technology announces the availability of its new MSI Installation Files. Due to the demand for the deployment of the Accessibility Suite across networks, we developed an MSI Installation package that can be easily downloaded from our FTP Site.

The MSI Installation package contains a separate MSI install file for each application. We did this so that during installation, network administrators can select with applications in the suite they want to deploy – they can build a custom installation script for different types deployment (i.e. different grade levels, workstations, labs, etc.)

These MSI files were most recently updated on 12/6/05, so if you have received earlier version of the MSI packs, you will want to download this new set of files. This MSI pack is available free to any active grant recipient.

What is an MSI File?

MSI Files are installation files for software that can be deployed easily across the network, so software does not need to be manually installed at each workstation.
