The French Talking Dictionary (FTD), first and foremost, is a complete and comprehensive dictionary. It is, however, more than a regular dictionary. It has a number of additional features. The FTD can “read” the definition of a word aloud and contains more than 189,000 words, including slang and jargon. The FTD also displays all the derivatives of word being searched.
More than just a dictionary
The FTD can be used as a traditional dictionary in which words are searched. Words can be typed or copied and pasted into the Lookup Word Field
Each time the FTD searched a word, it automatically uses its powerful thesaurus to find any derivatives for that word. The dictionary and thesaurus are integrated. Definitions of derivatives can be accessed by double-clicking. The built-in Back and Forward buttons allow the user to easily get back to the original word by moving through the word history list.
Sometimes dictionaries create more questions than they answer. Definitions of words within a definition can also be accessed by double-clicking.

Parfois, les dictionnaires de créer plus de questions que de réponses. Définitions des mots dans une définition peut également être consulté en double-cliquant.
