Language Model Information Summarization (LMIS)

Intelligent Information Summarization

Language Model Information Summarization (LMIS) is Premier Literacy's unique information summarization technology, unlike any approach in use in the world today.

Information is coming at all of us faster than ever before! Have you been faced with reading a lengthy article on a limited time? How about conducting research while needing to review a number of technical publications? What you need is to quickly understand the main topics or themes of a publication. With LMIS, simply open the document and in a few seconds you can "boil it down" to the main themes and ideas!

How It Works

LMIS is constructed using language model algorithms developed by Premier Literacy, which can be dynamically adjusted to meet the variable needs of the entire spectrum of individuals who need to read. You choose the level of summarization you want for the document selected (e.g., 25%), and the summary will be displayed in a separate document which can be saved.

Use LMIS as a comprehension improvement tool--not only for reading, but as an excellent writing tool as well. Write a report, term paper, letter or story, then run a summary of the document. Did you get your point across? Did you leave out anything? Does the summary reflect your intended theme? LMIS can be an invaluable aid in helping users to analyze their composition to ensure they are meeting their expected requirements for reporting and communication.

Maximize What You Read

Everyone can benefit from these tools, regardless of their roles and responsibilities (education/government/business) to enable them to quickly and efficiently digest large volumes of text-based content. LMIS is a tool with mass appeal and benefits that enable ALL users, even those with literacy challenges, to be more efficient--to maximize what they read by helping them quickly identify the essential ideas of any publication.
