SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to recent updates some of Microsoft operating system, some individuals using Premier Literacy portable devices may have trouble launching the Universal Reader.  Please read below for instructions on receiving a small patch that will resolve the issue.  If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact us.

To get the service patch, please complete the following steps: 

Click here or cut and paste this address into your address line of your internet browser: http://208.84.113.112/download/Portablepatch.zip 
 

  1. Save the file to your computer “Portablepatch.zip”.  This is a small file only 26K and should take about 15 seconds to download using dial up.
  1. Once the file has been saved, double click the file to open it.
  1. Select the file “myscreencapture.ocx”  and go to the edit menu and select copy.
  1. Connect and open your portable device.  Do not start the toolbar.  Simply open the removable disk.
  1. On the disk you will see a “Key” folder right click on the key folder or open it up and select paste.
  1. Reboot your computer and start your portable device toolbar and you should be able to launch the universal reader.
